When T-Mobile got all diva on us and decided to drop us, we made an agreement. If after thirty days without a cell phone Marty decided that he still needed one, we would get them.
He decided that we needed them and I think I agree with him. It would have been nice to be able to text him when his uncle was driving me crazy, that's for sure.
It has been more than 30 days, and today we got our new phones. AT&T and Alltel all wanted deposits (a side effect of Dave Ramsey's baby steps - you have no credit) and I did not want to pay it. On a whim we stopped in to the Sprint store and they were great. They didn't ask for a deposit, but put a spending limit of $125 a month on us. We pay the bill on time every month, so no problem. As the guy was taking my info, the credit limit suddenly jumped to $325. I joked that it was because now that Sprint was on my credit report, I had credit, so they upped it. LOL We have no idea why it did for real, but what the heck.
The bill is less than T-Mobile and we have more minutes and unlimited texting.
So now, we have three of these and a new cell bill every month.
Woohoo...

Hey, we have sprint and all of us have the same phones as you do! :)Marie
I love my phone! We got them because the guy said they were perfect for texting, but after we were done we realized that it is the same phone my brother has.
I got the funky green. :o)
